Make a DIY faux brass starburst sculpture
Brass starburst sculptures and wall art are one of the latest hot items in home decor and are currently sold by Jayson Home & Garden for $45 to $85.
Interior decorator Danika Herrick, who writes the home design blog Gorgeous Shiny Things, shows you how to make a DIY version for only a few dollars.
Herrick used styrofoam, duct tape, wood skewers and a bottle cap to make a convincing faux brass sculpture, which resembles a gilded sea urchin.
