Best in DIY Awards – Win $3,000 from Family Handyman Magazine

Are you the best? That’s what The Family Handyman Magazine is on the hunt for. Just like in the all-time hit movie, Men In Black… check out this audio clip:
If you’re all that, then this is for you! $6,000 in cash prizes are up for grabs along with three paid trips to Orlando to the International Builder’s Show (Disney is there too, in case you decide to skip out of the show early…)
And, if it just so happens that one of you, my wonderful readers, wins, I’d like to take you to dinner personally at one of my favorite Orlando hot spots. Waffle House… (just kidding… I can do better than that! though I do enjoy Waffle House when the conditions are right)
The Family Handyman Magazine

The Family Handyman magazine is part of the Reader’s Digest family of publications, so you can count on them to actually deliver on this promise.
It’s a great magazine too, I have one right here in fact. I’ll take a picture:
They didn’t send me this, I bought it with my own money in the bookstore.
Because that’s the kind of thing I read!
And maybe a little because I have an article or two being published in the actual print version later this year. Woot.
So here’s the deal, they are looking for entries in three categories:
- Decks & Patios
- Dream Garages (way fun)
- Woodworking
YOU KNOW YOU CAN ROCK ONE OF THESE CATEGORIES! I know you can do it, you know you can do it. Let’s show everyone else you can do it and have a few waffles in the process.
More details at The Family Handyman 2011 Best In DIY Awards page!
Good Luck and I hope to see you next year in Orlando for a par-tay!
