The Goodwood Festival of Speed
This year’s Festival of Speed takes place from 30th June to 3rd July 2011 at Goodwood House nr Chichester, West Sussex. It is the largest motoring garden party in the world. It brings together a heady mix of cars, stars and motor sport royalty to create the largest event of its kind in the world.
On display will past and present Formula cars, 200mph supercars, sports cars and vintage race cars. There is the famous annual hill climb which is a celebration of motor sport. Some of the drivers who will racing up the hill climb this year are Lewis Hamilton, Damon Hill, Emerson Fittipali, Jean Alesi, Martin Brundle, Nigel Mansell and many many more.
This year there is also the second Aviation Show which is taking place at the same time at the nearby Goodwood Airfield in association with Air BP. Microsoft Windows 7 are presenting the Super Car Paddock with all the latest cars from Ferrari, Lamborghini, and Pagani.
